Paul has a deep background in tax, financial management, and accounting, including fifteen years in public accounting, and five years as a Controller and Tax Director for a multi-national manufacturing company. Paul's experience includes work as a member of Plante & Moran's National Tax Office, with a broad array of expertise in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, estate planning, trusts, accounting methods, entity choice and formation, international tax, and state and local taxation.

Paul's objective is to provide you with deep expertise, creative solutions,  and nimble service delivery that is focused on solving your greatest financial challenges.

Paul is also the co-founder of Secure Compliance, LLC, which is a cloud-based technology company that helps companies and their advisors report beneficial ownership in compliance with new FinCEN rules under the Corporate Transparency Act. See www.securecompliance.us for more information.

Outside the office, Paul enjoys anything outdoors, including hiking and backpacking, and also enjoys coaching local students in chess.

Ben is a CPA and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, holding a degree in Business Administration and a Master's Certificate in Financial Planning from the College for Financial Planning. He’s enjoyed a career approaching 15 years in public and private accounting and finance, leading a global team in several of his initiatives, and thrives in the Board room. Ben’s background in audit, coaching, and operational finance equip him to maximize fiscal health for both personal and corporate clients, platforming them for optimized growth through financial clarity and control.

Ben enjoys rock climbing, golf, exploring the Black Hills with his wife and four children, and wrapping up the day with a glass of good wine with friends and family.

Connor is part of the Tax Practice team at Freidel & Associates, LLC, and his primary focus is tax compliance and planning.

Connor graduated summa cum laude in 2020 with a Bachelor’s Degree with a double major into Accounting and Finance from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana. 

During his free time, Connor loves to play board games with his family and friends.

Chamberlyn is part of the Tax Practice team, and her primary focus is tax compliance and planning. Chamberlyn achieved magna cum laude honors upon graduating in 2023 from Black Hills State University, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree with a double major in Business Administration, specializing in Accounting, and Mathematics.

In her leisure time, Chamberlyn enjoys watching movies alongside her friends and family, playing soccer, doing yoga, and listening to music.

KathyAnn is an administrative assistant at Freidel & Associates, LLC. KathyAnn has a background in accounting and administration, and helps keep the office running smoothly!

When not at the office, KathyAnn loves adventure, nature walks with her dog, and most of all, time with grandchildren.

Karla leads the Client Accounting Services team as the Accounting Services Manager. She has over 20 years of accounting experience encompassing lending, construction, and Retail.  Prior to joining Freidel & Associates she served 13 years as Controller of an established nonprofit, where she was instrumental in ensuring financial transparency and maintaining internal controls. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting through National American University, and also holds a Graduate certificate in Human Resource Management.

Her joy in life comes from faith, her husband, children and grandbaby. She is blessed by blessing others through the gift of a good meal or her listening ear.

Madison is part of the Tax Practice team, her primary focus being tax compliance and preparation. She is a senior at Black Hills State University, pursuing her degree in Professional Accountancy with minors in Business Administration and Business Communications, and is set to graduate in May of 2024.

Her favorite ways to spend her free time are hanging out with friends and family, going to the gym, watching Netflix, or listening to music.

Lexy is a member of the tax practice team and primarily focuses on tax compliance and planning. Before deciding to pursue a career in accounting, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Science from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. In 2023, Lexy graduated Magna Cum Laude from Black Hills State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Accountancy. Currently, Lexy is working toward her CPA licensure within the state of South Dakota.

Lexy enjoys spending her leisure time with her husband, Aaron and her dog, Nyx. She is an avid reader and, when the weather cooperates, she loves to explore the beautiful Black Hills hiking trails.

Cindy is an accountant at Freidel & Associates, LLC.  Cindy graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Western International University in Phoenix, Arizona, and has a number of years of accounting experience.  During her free time, Cindy loves spending time with her family, learning about healthy living, hiking and volunteering.
